B8ta, a Retail As A Service (RAAS) company, opened their first store in 2015 in Silicon Valley (Palo Alto CA). Their business model was focused on an experiential environment where brand partners could showcase their products and receive important retail analytics on customer behavior. After opening several more stores into 2018, b8ta engaged MINT to provide a turn-key retail solution that included an enhanced design, retail analytics installation, experiential technology & cost savings.
MINT used its expertise in manufacturing and engineering to utilize higher quality materials to promote longevity while simultaneously reducing costs. Because b8ta and their partners rely on successful merchandising, MINT designed flexible & modular displays to increase the number and flexibility of merchandising positions.
To add to the retail experience, MINT provide large digital screens backed by their proprietary CMS (Content Management System), slim line LED light boxes, new vertical merchandising options, and camera installations for both retail analytics and demographics.
MINT introduced a new model where they provided a turn-key, white glove solution to b8ta. This included not only millwork and experiential solutions but retail analytics & in-store networking. The MINT solution, summarized below, allowed the b8ta team to rely on a single provider and keep their team focused on current store operations and growth strategies.
In under 4 months, MINT opened 8 flagship stores for b8ta at some of the nations highest profile retail centers, with many more targeted for 2020.
